April 2026 - mid month update
Just won Best Drama Short Film at the Crown Point International Film Festival in Chicago, Illinois. For Just Another Bum.
Just won Honourable mention at Folkestone (UK) and Athens (Greece)
April - start of month
I completed the editing, colour and foley Jan 15th, 2026 . Post audio production just completed by my Creative Consultant late March 2026.
Four acceptances already for Just Another Bum submitted in first two weeks at festivals in New York, Chicago, Atlanta and England. Now we have to move on to some wins! Win or not - it's been a fun ride!

Film was shot in September and October - now in editing. Hoping for release of "Just Another Bum" to Film Festivals in mid 2026
July 28th, 2025 update:
While we couldn't find a film crew in Muskoka interested in filming a movie - we did find a GTA crew prepared to work up here. Next step - looking to cast several roles locally. If this next step goes smoothly...could be filming this September.

Opening Post June 2025: SOME DREAMS NEVER DIE!
In this my first posting on the website, I thought I'd describe what you will find here. Future postings will be about current news or activities I am involved with so stop by regularly!
As this is an actor website, thought you may enjoy sharing a few moments from my film career. You'll find behind the scenes pictures, my professional headshots as well as a few screenshots from films. For fun I have included a personal photo file showcasing my love for nature, a couple of personal pics of me over the years along with a selection of our wonderful furry friends (wildlife) my wife and I enjoy up here in the north!

What's in the works for the summer of 2025?
I have just completed my first screenplay - now comes the hard part...trying to put together a film crew and cast to produce the film. As there are currently no film production studios in Muskoka this may be difficult to arrange. Seems videographers I've been meeting with this month have had to focus on non film making jobs like weddings and real estate videos just to make money and I understand that. So it appears I will have to keep looking!
As I end this first posting, I want to offer encouragement for aspiring film actors. I began my principal acting career less than 5 years ago in October 2020, and yet today I have performed in 24 roles either in Film, TV, Commercials or on Stage. I encourage you to remember,
- Dreams never die - but sometimes they are left behind as we go through life.
Why not rekindle an old forgotten dream - or dream a new bigger dream - whether in performing arts or any other life opportunity...then choose to do something about it - today! You may just find that following your dream "at any age" may put some youthful energy and fun back in your life - it certainly did for me!
